2020 Wild WIld West League:

In June of 2020, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, the sports world came to a grinding halt. Being innovators, The Portland Pickles, a collegiate summer league baseball team in Portland, OR, took matters into their own hands to create a 4 team local league; showcasing premiere talent from the Northwest while keeping in line with strict safety guidelines put forth by the local and federal government. In a two week period, rosters were created, an alternate field was selected, sponsors were found, and tickets were sold- to create the Wild Wild West League, one of the only live sporting events in the United States. The Pickles gave Portland the gift of live baseball during a time where hope was far and few between.

This is the historic story of the Wild Wild West League.
