WWWL Ends on Positive Note

The Wild Wild West League has concluded with a very fitting wild ending. The West Linn Knights are the first-ever WWWL champions after beating the Portland Pickles 8-7. In a back and forth matchup with loads of thrill, the Knights were able to edge out the Pickles thanks to their three home runs on the night. James Anderson, Briley Knight, and Taylor Holder each went to the yardhouse tonight with Holder hitting what would be the go-ahead bomb in the 8th inning. Gabe Skoro once again showed why he was the WWWL batting champ as he had three hits on the night including a bases clearing double that brought momentum back to the Pickles.
